12. Troubleshooting
You can solve most problems using the following approaches. If the problem still persists after working
through these approaches, contact our Service Hotline. Do not perform any repair work yourself!
The receiver [C] is not working
The socket is defective or fuse has been tripped, check the socket with a different device.
The outdoor unit [A] is not working
The batteries [I] may be dead. Insert new batteries [I].
Check whether the batteries [I] have been inserted with the correct polarity. When doing so, observe
the image in the battery compartment and on the batteries [I]. Also observe the section ‘Inserting the
batteries’.
No wireless connection to Wi-Fi router
The distance from the Wi-Fi router is too great. Reduce the distance.
The distance between the outdoor unit [A] and the receiver [C] is too great. Reduce the distance.
Eliminate sources of interference between the receiver [C] and Wi-Fi router.
The configuration of the receiver [C] is defective. Reset the receiver [C] to its original condition. To do
so, press the volume button [9] and the connection button [10] for approx. five seconds and then
release it again. You will now hear a beep. The receiver [C] will restart. The receiver [C] requires a
certain amount of time (approx. two minutes) after it is switched on before initial use. As soon as the
light ring [8] of the receiver [C] flashes purple and emits a beep, you can configure the connection via
the app.
