To do this, pull the deep-frying pan

out of
the product, place it on a heat-resistant surface
and press the release button

the deep-frying basket

out of the deep-frying

. Carefully shake the food 2–3 times
and slide the deep-frying pan

correctly inserted deep-frying basket

into the product.
Tip:
If you set the timer to half of the prepara-
tion time, a signal tone sounds when you need
to shake the food. This however means that you
will have to reset the timer for the remaining
preparation time after shaking.
When the signal tone of the timer sounds, the set
preparation time has elapsed. Pull the deep-fry-
ing pan

out of the product and place it on
a heat-resistant surface.
Note:
You can also switch off the product
manually. To do so, set the cooking time knob

to 0.
Check that the food is cooked. If this is not the
case, slide the deep-frying pan

back into the
product and set the timer for a few additional
minutes.

Unplug the mains cable with the mains plug

Instructions for use
Note:
The Rapid Air technology immediately heats
up the air in the product again. If the deep-frying
pan

is removed from the product for a short time
during cooking, the process is barely interrupted.
The following information will give you
a few tips so that you can achieve an op-
timal frying result. Please be aware that
the information contained in these tips is
only intended as a recommendation. In-
gredients may differ in their origin, size,
shape and brand. Optimal, authoritative
instructions for settings and operation
cannot be guaranteed.
· Smaller foods usually require shorter preparation
times than large foods.
· A larger quantity of food requires a slightly longer
preparation time, a smaller quantity of food a slightly
shorter preparation time.
· Use the temperature settings under 150 °C to e.g.
warm up bread rolls or meals.
· During the preparation time, food in the deep fry-
ing basket
9
should be shaken at least 2–3 times
at regular intervals to optimise the fi nal result and
to prevent unevenly fried food.
· When cooking potatoes, for a crispy result add
some oil (max. 1 tbsp.) after half of the cooking
time has elapsed. Continue frying after adding
the oil.
· Do not prepare extremely fatty foods in the air
fryer.
· Snacks that can be prepared in an oven can also
be prepared in the air fryer.
