You can repeat this procedure several times.

The scales can show a maximum negative
weight of "-999". If the weight taken from
scales exceeds the negative value of "-999",
then "Err" will appear on the display

When you take the total amount of food from the
scales and press the TARE/ZERO/

button,
the "T" will disappear and "0" will be shown.
Troubleshooting/
display messages

If the display

shows "Err", the scale is over-
loaded. Remove items from the scale. Never
place more than 5 kg on the scale.
■
If the display

shows "Lo", the batteries are
fl at. Replace the batteries.
■
If "- - - -" appears in the display
4
, wait for a
few seconds.
■
If your scale does not function as expected,
replace the batteries. If the malfunction is not
eliminated after following these steps, please
contact our Service Centre (see chapter
"Warranty and Service").
Changing the battery
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

Batteries can be swallowed by children and
cause a serious danger to health. Keep the
batteries out of the reach of children.
1) Remove the screw on the battery compart-
ment

on the underside of the scales using
a screwdriver.
2) Open the battery compartment

3) Remove the discharged battery.
4) Insert the new battery type CR 2032 (3 V) into
the battery compartment

. Observe to the
polarity markings given in the battery compart-
ment

.
5) Press and close the battery compartment cover
until it locks in place.
Cleaning and care
NOTE
►
We recommend cleaning the appliance
immediately after each use. This makes food
residues easier to remove.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!

Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials. These could damage the surface of
the appliance!

Wipe the scales with a damp cloth. For stubborn
soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth.

Wash the bowl

in mild washing up water.
Rinse off any detergent residues with clear
water. Dry the bowl

thoroughly afterwards.
NOTE

The bowl

is also suitable for cleaning in
the dishwasher.
Storage
■
Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free
and dry location.
