■ To reinsert the blade

, first check that the
sealing ring has been inserted properly (fig. 5).
Attach the blade
1 and use the lid catch .
to turn it clockwise until it sits firmly.
In most cases, the following cleaning method is
sufficiently hygienic if applied right after use:
1) Put some water containing a little detergent
into the fully assembled blender 6 .
2) Attach the blender lid

as described in the
section “Working with the blender”.
3) Switch on the blender

for a few seconds.
4) Pour out the washing water. Any residues can
be removed with a washing-up brush.
5) Now, rinse the blender 6 with plenty of
fresh water so that all detergent residues are
removed.
NOTE
► The blender

and blade

including
the sealing ring are dishwasher safe.
We recommend hand-washing all
parts, however.
► If you clean components in the dishwasher,
please ensure that no plastic parts can get
jammed or caught anywhere. Otherwise, they
may become deformed!
► If possible, place all plastic parts in the top
basket of the dishwasher.
Storage
■ Wrap the power cable around the cable
spool
+ to store it (fig. 6).
