3. Empty the water reservoir (9). To do this, open the lid (7), put your hand into the recess on the
back of the water reservoir (9) and lift the water reservoir (9) upwards and away from the
heater unit (14). Pour away the contents of the water reservoir (9).
4. Dry the water reservoir (9) well, replace it on the heater unit (14) and close the lid (7).
5. Carefully pull the catcher plate (12) and the holder filter (13) forwards away from the device
and put it to one side.
5. Remove the sealing screw on the bottom of the device. Carefully place the heater unit (14) on
its left side. Ideally, you should rest it on a soft cloth. If necessary, use a coin or a large
screwdriver.
6. Put the hot water dispenser upright in the sink and allow it to drain for a few minutes.
7. Replace the sealing screw.
8. Store the hot water dispenser in a safe, dry place away from dust. We recommend placing the
catcher plate (12) and the holder filter (13) in the water reservoir (9) and closing the lid (7).
Then they cannot get lost and they are protected from dust and damage.
9. Troubleshooting
If your hot water dispenser does not work as normal, follow the instructions below to try to solve the
problem. If working through the tips below does not fix the fault, please contact our hotline (see
"Warranty information" section).
The hot water dispenser does not work.
The mains plug is not plugged in. Insert the mains plug into a mains socket.
The mains socket is defective. Test the appliance in a different mains socket that you are certain
is working.
The device must be unlocked first. Press the unlock button (6) for at least 3 seconds to unlock
the device. You then need to select a water temperature or volume within 15 seconds and start
the dispensing process. Otherwise, the hot water dispenser automatically locks itself again.
The hot water dispenser has overheated and the overheating protection is preventing it from
switching on. The device needs a reset. Open the lid (7), remove the water reservoir (9) and
guide the reset key (D) into the hole marked “RESET BUTTON” on the back of the heater unit
(14). Push it all the way in until you have actuated the switch. The hot water dispenser should
then work normally again. Reassemble it. Fill the hot water dispenser with at least 0.5 litres of
water up to the "0.5L MIN" mark inside.
There is water leaking out below the hot water dispenser.
The sealing screw is not properly tightened or fitted incorrectly. See “Tightening the sealing
screw” on page 34.
