It is also declared that the machine was designed and built in compliance with the following harmonized standards:
EN ISO 12100-1 (2003) Safety of machinery
–Basic concepts, general principles for design - Part 1: basic terminology, methodology
EN ISO 12100-2 (2003) Safety of machinery
–Basic concepts, general principles for design - Part 2: Technical principles.
EN ISO 14121-1 (2007) Safety of machinery
–Risk assessment -Parte 1: Principles.
The procedure for assessment of conformity with Directive 2000/14/EC followed is set out in Annex V.

INSTALLATION
5.1
Transport
The concrete mixers are delivered semi-assembled with the buchet
fixed in the upper position, the wheels disassembled and the legs in the lowest
position. Thanks to their solidity and their shape the machines are easy to handle
and to stock without damages. The motor, reduction unit, hydraulic and the control
distributor are fully assembled on the machine, together with the lower protections
and the electric control board. The weight of the machine is stated on the EC plate; due to its
considerable weight, the machine shall not be manually handled. It shall be hoisted by means of a crane
and hooked as shown in the figure. The machine is delivered with the following accessories:
- 2 wheels; - 1 drawbar; - 1 series of keys;
Be careful during hoisting and handling the machine to prevent injury to persons and
damages to the machine. The hoisting means shall be dimensioned according to the
weight to be
hoisted.
Never hoist the machine, if the bucket is not fixed in upper
position. Follow the safety instructions shown in chapter SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
5.2
Placing and grounding
Install the machine on flat and solid group.
Check the flatness of the ground before installation by means of a water level
(longitudinally and crosswise). Make sure the ground is correctly dimensioned to
support the weight of the machine. It must be self-extinguishing and not combustible.
If necessary, the ground may be provided with holes for screw anchors, to fix the machine to the ground.
The installation place shall be protected against atmospheric agents. Next to the machine there must be a plug for the
connection to the electric installation and to the grounding system (see figure 2). Make sure there is an area of respect of at
least 1000 mm around the machine. During working the machine produces dust as well as solid and liquid rejects, which must
be disposed of by specialized companies.
Follow the safety instructions shown in chapter SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
Next to the machine there must be: - connection to the supply mains;
- areas for the hoisting and handling of work
products;
- areas for the pick-up and discharge
of residual products.
Never use the machine
near inflammable materials
or explosive gases.
Follow the safety
instructions shown in chapter
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
Unauthorised persons shall never use the machine.
5.3 Areas of respect and dimensions
The areas of respect around the machine shall be at least 1000mm
to ensure good working and correct maintenance of the machine. The personnel shall move within this area with
the utmost care. Within the area of respect there is the work area for the operator. The work area for the
operator shall be at least 2 square meters. The machine is equipped with feet and holes provided for the fixing to
the ground. Fixing to the ground shall be carried out by means of screw anchors and/or special screw nuts.
