SAFETY PRESCRIPTIONS
Limits for use, space, endurance
The machine has been designed and built for use on open-air work sites, according to the climate
conditions with reference to the previous paragraph (4.2). Do not use the machine in underground excavations, in
areas at risk for explosions or fires (no EX protection), in closed rooms. The machine has been designed and built for
transporting concrete, sand, pebble gravel, cement, water for use on work sites only.
Ensure the areas of respect of the machine according to its range of action and to the work areas.
The Dumper is equipped with a draught connector. For good machine output in safe conditions, ensure the trailerable
weight does not exceed 1500 Kg, otherwise the company SILLA cannot accept any responsibility for possible
damages resulting from this.
Do not allow riders. The Dumper has been designed and type approved for transporting only one operator/driver.
Do not operate the control levers of the Dumper from outside the driving place. Operate in safe conditions and only
grom the driving place.
Do not exceed machine load capacity. Do not modify the machine to improve its performances.
Never get down off the machine, if it is moving and do not cling to the controls. Ensure the machine steps, the
handrail and the shoes of the operator are clean and without slippery oil or mud residuals.
Do not reverse while the machine is moving. Reversing at high speed is dangerous. Always drive at reduced speed.
Carefully check the work area: the presence of potholes, loose soil, hidden stones, electric cables, gas or water pipes,
etc. could be dangerous. Ensure sufficient distance from overhanging cables and suspended structures.
Working on hilly soil might be dangerous. Always shift down and never move downhill when the motor is switched off
or the transmission in neutral position.
Working with bad visibility may cause accidents. Always keep driving mirrors and glasses (on Dumpers with cab
and/or type approval) clean. In darkness inspect the work area and use all the available lighting devices.
Breathing in the machine exhaust gas is detrimental to health. When you work in closed places without adequate
ventilation, provide the silencer with a tail pipe, conveying the gas outside. If you feel sleepy, immediately turn off the
Dumper, apply the parking brake and go out into the open.
Exhaust or electric sparks may cause accidents or explosions. Do not use the machine in the presence of inflammable
Never overload the machine! It could capsize and cause serious accidents.
Before backing the Dumper up the ramps and onto the trailer, ensure the ramps are safe and perfectly in horizontal
position, without any grease or oil residual.
Leaving the machine unattended in public places is dangerous. Therefore, provide appropriate barriers around the
work area to prevent unauthorized persons to approach it.
Park the machine according to the instructions of the manual.
Do not make attempts to repair the machine, always call authorized repair shops.
If the machine is not secured by means of blocks or safety stands when it is lifted with the jack, it can fall and crush
you. Always secure the wheels by means of blocks or safety stands on the machine opposite side, before lifting the
other side with the jack.
Stay away from below lift arms unless arms are pinned or supported.
Gas oil is inflammable. Do not smoke when refuelling or when you are working on the motor. You can cause a fire, if
you do not follow these instructions.
