Removing a Drive Tray from a Drive Carrier

If you are replacing a failed drive or dummy drive, use the following steps:

1.

Remove the four screws holding connecting the drive tray to the carrier.

2.

Slide the drive tray from the carrier.

Caution:

Except for short periods of time while swapping hard drives, do not operate the server

with the hard drive carriers empty.
