A: Technical Specifications

Rack

The SGI Origin 300 system with NUMAlink module supports two rack types: a short
rack and a tall rack. Both rack types are industry-standard 19-inch racks, and they
support two types of mounting rails that support the modules within the rack. For
example, the Origin 300 base modules use slide mounting rails (refer to Figure A-1),
which enable you to slide the base module from the rack to access PCI cards and memory.
