P 700 T
Operation
Technical changes reserved
Adjust the test pressure.
The necessary test pressure can be precisely adjusted with the fine adjustment valve:
•
Set the necessary test pressure by turning the fine adjustment valve as needed.
See the section "Fine adjustment valve" below for details.
Reduce pressure:
The pressure can be reduced by gently opening the pressure relief valve.
•
Turn the knob a little counterclockwise until the pressure decreases.
•
Close the pressure relief valve when the necessary pressure has been reached.
Fine adjustment valve:
The necessary test pressure can be precisely increased or decreased with the fine adjust-
ment valve.
Increase pressure:
Turn the handwheel clockwise in the direction
"pump body stop collar" .
Decrease pressure:
Turn the handwheel counterclockwise in the di-
rection "external stop" .
Depending on the pressure of the test sample and the
position of the handwheel, pressure changes can be easily achieved.
FINE ADJUSTMENT VALVE
In the unpressurised state, the fine adjustment valve is very easy to turn. The wide hand
wheel of the fine-adjustment valve can be quickly moved into the required position with
the palm of the hand.
5.2
Pressure measurements
For adjustments, calibrations or an inspection of accuracy, it is vital that the test sample and
the reference have the same pressure.
The pressure needed for the test points is built up and adjusted with the P 700 T (
§ 5.1).
Wait for pressure stabilisation!
After pressure changes with the P 700 T, it takes a few minutes for the pressure in the
measurement setup to stabilise (
§ 3.1).
Wait approximately 3…5 min before you begin taking measurements.
The necessary procedures for measuring pressure are defined by the user.
Carry out the pressure measurements:
•
Carry out the necessary tests and measurements.
•
Record your results.
