The following measures must be taken before you send the unit to SIKA for repair:
Clean the device thoroughly. This is of extreme importance if the medium is hazardous to
health, i.e. caustic, toxic, carcinogenic or radioactive etc.
Remove all residues of the media and pay special attention to sealing grooves and slits.
Attach a note describing the malfunction, state the application field and the chemi-
cal/physical properties of the media.

) and please specify a
point of contact in case our service department has any questions.
The customer must confirm that the measures were taken by filling out the declaration of
decontamination. It can be found on our website as a download:

Maintenance:
Except for the seals / O-rings and the oil, the P 700 T is maintenance-free and cannot be re-
paired by the user. In case of a defect, the P 700 T must be returned to the manufacturer for
repair.
Check the seals and O-rings for cracks and wear before use.
Replace defective or worn seals and O-rings.
Visually inspect the P 700 T and its components for damage.
The inspection interval depends on the frequency of use, but at least once a year.
Check the oil level regularly and if necessary refill oil (see below).
RECOMMENDATION!
Use seals and hydraulic hoses made of rubber, silicone or plastic for a maximum of
6 years.
Observe the corresponding instructions in the manufacturer's product documents.
Check oil level / refilling:
Normally, it is sufficient if the rod is covered in the tank. For a large-volume measurement
setup, hydraulic oil needs to be refilled.
Place the P 700 T on a level surface.
Turn the seal to the "O P E N" position and remove it from the
reservoir.
Check the oil level. Refill the reservoir up to the mark.
Only use original SIKA hydraulic oil 10 cSt.
Insert the seal in the "O P E N" position on the reservoir and
turn it into the required position.
