Releasing pressure
Once the pressure measurements have been completed, the positive pressure in the P 700 T,
the test sample and in the pressure line need to be brought into balance
CAUTION! Risk of injury in the case of excessive pressure!
Do not remove any connected components (test sample, pressure hose, reference) if the
P 700 T is under pressure.
Open the pressure relief valve before removing any of the components.
Releasing pressure:
Turn the pressure relief valve knob
1-2 rotations counter
clockwise and wait until there is no longer any positive pressure.
Remove the test sample with adapters and seals from the pres-
sure hose.
Store the P 700 T and its accessories.
(
§ 7: "Maintenance / cleaning, storage and transport")
IMPORTANT! Do not release pressure without supervision!
When releasing pressure, hydraulic oil from the measurement setup flows into the res-
ervoir. The pressure compensation in the reservoir is effected via the vent in the seal.
In case of large-volume measurement setups or if hydraulic oil has been refilled during the
pressure build-up, more hydraulic oil can flow back than the reservoir can handle.
Carefully release the pressure and observe the fill level in the reservoir.
If necessary, drain hydraulic oil from the reservoir.
