5.3.2 Speed
The desired speed of the centrifuge (revolutions per minute) can be set here
(1,000 rpm in the example shown below). When the maximum permissible speed
of the rotor is reached, the “max” display lights up.
To preselect a speed value:
•
Turn the left rotary knob until the “set” cursor appears in front of the
parameter “Speed” on the display (Fig. 5.11).
•
Select the option by pressing or turning the right rotary knob. The “set” cursor
will now flash.
•
Turn the right rotary knob until the desired value is displayed.
•
Press the right rotary knob to confirm the selected value. If this is not done,
the value will be automatically reset to the last setting.
It is possible to change the speed value during the centrifugation run.

5.3.2.1 Changing the Speed Increments
In order to change the speed in steps of 10 rpm (instead of in steps of 100 rpm):
•
Keep the stop key pressed while setting the desired speed with the right
rotary knob.
