Consider this
V1x Geophone can be used and stored in a wide range of
ambient temperatures. However, allow your V1x Geophone
ample time to adjust to abrupt temperature changes.
Whenever the V1x Geophone is shipped, care should be
taken in repackaging using the original packaging provided
by Sigicom.
Is not intended to be used under water, though it is certified
for IEC60529 IPx7.
The operating ambient temperature range is –20 ºC to
+ 50 ºC.
V1x Geophone is a precision sensor which makes it sensitive
to shock. If it is dropped on a hard surface it must be
recalibrated, see contact information below.
The sensor cables, ports and terminations supplied by
Sigicom are designed to work properly with the system. Do
not use other types of these devices.
Never attempt to disassemble the instrument.
Never attach your V1x Geophone to anything other than
devices and accessories within the INFRA Field Monitoring
System.
