Overview

Understanding the Icon Messages

Your icon keypad communicates information by lighting the words
and phrases in the icon display. The words that make up a mes-
sage may be on different lines, or separated by other words.

For example, you may see the following message in your dis-
play:

This message indicates that Zone 4 is not ready to arm.

In this manual, you will see messages such as these presented
on one line, such as this:

ZONE # NOT READY

Number symbols ("#") substitute for the specific numeric infor-
mation your system displays.
