Non-combustible material will be supplied by the manufacturer. This must be installed on top of the fireplace as
shown above to meet installation codes, or a 5” air gap with covering custom surround.

The fireplace must be installed level and be attached to the framing with screws on either side. The
noncombustible board supplied by the manufacturer must be securely screwed to the top of the fireplace and the
steel header stud. Minimum clearances to combustibles must be maintained for safety reasons.
