Switch GPRS on/off
GPRS is a method for transmitting
data faster in the mobile network.
Use GPRS and if the network has suf-
ficient capacity, you can be
connected to the Internet perma-
nently. Only the actual transmission
time is charged by the network oper-
ator. Some service providers do not
yet support this service.

status.
IrDA
Your phone has an infrared inter-
face. With this interface, you can
exchange data such as pictures, ring-
tones, Addressbook entries, busi-
ness cards or organiser data with
other devices which also have an
infrared interface.
The infrared interface is on the left
side of the phone. The distance
between the two devices must not
exceed 30 cm. The infrared windows
in both appliances must be aligned
as accurately as possible with each
other.
If IrDA (infrared) is activated, Blue-
tooth™ is not active and vice versa.
