Keyboard
Use the keyboard (p. 5) to easily
write your messages and other text
input. It works like a computer key-
board. To use the keypad, always
open
completely
. When the keypad is
opened, the number keys can only
be used to enter numbers. The T9
function cannot be used on the key-
board. If it is closed, T9 can be used
on the number keypad as usual.
Special functions
Shift key

Upper case/lower case let-
ter, or shift to the upper
key functions.
In contrast to a computer keyboard,
first select the mode using the key.
Do not
press the key and characters
at
the same time
.
• For a Latin-based keypad: shifts
between upper/lower cases.
• For an Arabic keypad: access to
other Arabic characters.
• For a Hebraic keypad: temporary
switches over to a Latin-based
keypad.

• For a Cyrillic keypad - shifts
between upper/lower cases.

Line feed.

Deletes the letter to the
left of the cursor.
