Installation of the purging tubes

Note
The purging tubes are unsymmetrical with slanted ends and must be mounted such that the

larger side of the tube end points against the direction of the process flow.

The purging tubes

are mounted by clamping the purging tube flange

between the

customer flange

and the SITRANS SL process interface

. The sealing is accomplished

by the two process gaskets

as shown in the following figure.

When using an ANSI 4"/150 lbs process interface the purging tubes
