Installation and commissioning

LEDs must light up for each phase for which a test current is
applied.

If the circuit breaker does not trip:

G

Check the LEDs by pressing the LED-RESET key. All LEDs
must light up.

G

Check all connections.

Final preparation of the device

Re-connect the device with the primary transformers and remove
the short-circuiting links from the transformer circuit. Check the
correct connection of the transformers, e.g. with a current probe.

Firmly tighten all screws. Tighten all terminal screws, including
those that are not used.

Check again the device settings. It is especially important to
check the correct setting of the Basic settings switches. Settings
changes that are made after power on are not applied at once but
only indicated by a blinking "RUN" LED. The new settings are
activated by pressing the "ENTER" key or by restarting the
device.
Indications on the front panel are cleared by pressing the
”LED-RESET” key.

The "RUN/ERROR" LED must shine green. If the "RUN/ERROR"
LED shines red or flashes, proceed as described in Section
"Standard test" (page 60) for troubleshooting.

If a test switch is available, it must be in the operating position.

The device is now ready for operation.
