7.3 Removing and installing hardware

3. Pull the enclosure a bit towards the front so the cables can be accessed.
4. Remove the cable ties securing the power cables in the enclosure.
5. Note:
If additional expansion cards are installed, first remove them, see "Installing/removing
expansion cards (Page 90)".
6. Remove the cables from the drives, the motherboard and the bus board. If necessary,
note their assignment.
7. Fully pull the enclosure of the redundant power supply backwards out of the device.
8. Remove the mounting bracket from the enclosure of the old power supply.
9. Mount the mounting bracket again as shown on the enclosure of the new power supply.
10. Install the new enclosure, do not however slide it all the way to the back, so that there is
enough space to connect the cables.
11. Reconnect the cables to the drives, motherboard and bus board.
12. Note:
If expansion cards need to be re-installed, re-install them, see "Installing/removing
expansion cards (Page 90)".
13. Fasten the cables with cable ties.
14. Now, slide the enclosure all the way to the back and fix it in the appropriate locations with
the screws.
15. Re-insert the two modules of the redundant power supply and close the device.
