Connecting supply voltage to the interface module
Introduction
The supply voltage of the interface module is supplied via a 4-pole cable connector, that is
located on the front of the interface module.
Power supply unit
You must only use SELV/PELV type power supply units with protective extra-low voltage
with safe electrical isolation (max. 28.8 V DC).
The required power of the power supply unit depends on the power consumption of the
connected components.
Connection for supply voltage
The connections have the following meaning:

+ 24 V DC of the supply voltage for looping (permitted value 10 A)

1L+ and 2L+ as well as 1M and 2M are internally bridged.

The maximum conductor cross-section is 1.5 mm

. The cable connectors offer you the option
of looping the supply voltage uninterrupted, even when it is unplugged.
Requirements

Only wire the cable connector when the supply voltage is turned off.

Follow the wiring rules (Page 57).
Tools required
3 to 3.5 mm screwdriver
