Fiber Optic Ethernet Ports 19

Section 3.2
Fiber Optic Ethernet Ports
Fiber optic Ethernet ports are available with either MTRJ (Mechanical Transfer Registered Jack), LC (Lucent
Connector), SC (Standard or Subscriber Connector) or ST (Straight Tip) connectors. Make sure the Transmit (Tx)
and Receive (Rx) connections of each port are properly connected and matched to establish a proper link.

Section 3.3
WAN Ports
The RX1100P can optionally be equipped with T1/E1 WAN ports, which communicate on standard telephony
communication lines.
T1/E1 WAN ports are equipped with standard RJ45 receptacles. The following is the pin-out for the T1/E1 ports:
