Trend functions

2015-10-13

The Trend is created and automatically started.

The query of a device is locked for one minute if a data point is unable to be read
three times in a row due to a communications fault with the device. Other data
points within the same trend as well as other trends are stilled queried.
The queries continues normally after the lock out expires.
Missing data points are listed in the trend file (.csv) with a "?".
The missing data points are displayed as a break in the curve for the trend graph.

Trends are synchronized to simplify evaluation of trend data.
The various query intervals are set up on an interval grid. The interval grid begins
at 00:00:00 hh:mm:ss.
A newly started trend displays the first data point at the first possible interval point
after start. The trend has the state "Incomplete" as long as this point has not been
reached; it then changes state to "In process".
