Parameter Description
This glossary is sorted alphabetically and provides a description of all pa-
rameters in your optiPoint 150 S.
There are two ways of configuring your phone:
•
via the phone
•
via the Web-based Management Tool
3-Way Conference
•
On
radio button: Activate this option if you want to convert a consulta-
tion call into a three-way conference. This kind of conference is also re-
ferred to as "local conferencing".
•
Off
radio button: Activate this option if you want to transfer a consulta-
tion call to a colleague.
Backup your Current Settings
•
You can save your optiPoint 150 S configuration settings (data backup).
•
Proceed as follows to back up the data:
1. Click
Save
.
2. Select the directory to which the backup should be saved.
3. Click
Save
.
Call Forward Always
•
Activate this checkbox if you want to forward incoming calls immedi-
ately to another destination. This is a useful function if you are going to
be unavailable for a long period of time (for example, on vacation).
•
Enter the phone number to which your calls should be forwarded.
Call Forward on Busy
•
Activate this checkbox if you want to forward incoming calls while you
are on a call. This is a useful function that enables callers to reach a con-
tact person (for example, customer service).
•
Enter the phone number to which your calls should be forwarded.
Call Forward No Answer
•
Activate this checkbox if you want to forward incoming calls to another
destination after a certain time has elapsed. This is a useful function if
you are unable to accept incoming calls on a regular basis (for example,
while participating in meetings).
•
Enter the phone number to which your calls should be forwarded.
•
Enter the period (in seconds) after which calls should be forwarded.
