2.5  Using Fast Access and Access with the Mailbox Key (Callback Access)

You can quickly access your mailbox via the 

Callback access

. You can also query your mailbox with the mailbox 

key on your telephone, if new messages have arrived.

2.5.1  Fast Access to the individual Mailbox

The Callback Access corresponds to Direct Access, with the exception that the user need not enter his/her phone 
number, as the terminal device’s phone number is used. It also means that this access type can only be used from 
a user’s own telephone or after identification vis-à-vis the PBX. The Callback Access is particularly useful for 
retrieving messages with the cell phone while being on the road. In this case it is also advisable to specify the cell 
phone number as trusted number. You would not need to identify yourself by PIN entry then.

NOTE:

This feature requires corresponding skills in the applied devices and the applied PBX.
