Removing the transport safeguards

Removing the swivel-arm system transport safeguard

3

1.

Loosen the transport safeguard nuts (1/Fig. 2) and remove the tube head screws
(2/Fig. 2).

2.

Push the red transport safeguard (3/Fig. 2) inwards, away from the tube head.

Transport safeguard for the lifting carriage

3

1.

Loosen the two screws (1/Fig. 3) and remove the red transport safeguard (2/Fig.
3). Reinsert screws (1/Fig. 3), they might be needed for service purposes.

after the equipment has been powered up, see further section
"Attaching the swivel-arm covers" on page 7 - 1.
