Selecting the Language
Some channels transmit their programme with a number of sound channels, for exam-
ple, in various languages or with different levels of sound quality. The
\
icon, for
example, identifies the programmes in the info bar for which a number of sound chan-
nels are available (see "Icons in the Menu" on page 30).
Choose the sound channel required for the current programme in the
Language menu.
Note: Analogue sound channels are available via all audio and SCART ports; digital lan-
guages are output via the DIGITAL OUT port.
In order to forward digital audio signals via the analogue ports, choose the
As ana-
logue output (Scart) setting in the Settings > Picture & Sound > Sound > Digital Out-
put menu (see "Digital output" on page 70).
Displaying Information
Info Bar
Your set-top box shows you various information on the current programme. The info bar
is shown automatically for a few seconds at the bottom of the screen each time you
change channel; however you can also call it up yourself.

Open the Language menu in order to display the languages available in
analogue quality.
Press the button again, if necessary, to display the languages available in
digital quality.

Select and confirm the desired sound channel.
G
Show the info bar for a few seconds.
Press this button again to display detailed information for the current pro-
gramme (see "Detailed Information" on page 39).
You can adjust the duration of the display and the transparency of the
info bar according to your requirements, see "OSD Display" on page 65.
