Housing

The housing is made of cast iron; if necessary, it can also be made of nodular cast iron.

The housing is made in one part. It is of torsionally rigid design and its shape imparts very favourable noise
and temperature characterics.

The gearunit housing comes with the following equipment:

•

Eye bolts (adequately dimensioned for transport)

•

Inspection and/or assembly holes (for oil filling and/or inspection)

•

Oillevel indicator or oil dipstick (for checking the oil level)

•

Oildrain plug or oildrain cock (to drain the oil)

•

Air filter (for venting)
