Faults
Remedy
Causes
Increased operating temperature.
Oil level in housing too high.
Oil too old.
Oil badly contaminated.
Gear unit with oil cooling system:
Coolant flow too low.
Coolant temperature too high.
Oil pump defective.
Gear unit with fan: Suction
opening in airguide cover and/or
gearunit housing badly
contaminated.
Check the oil level at room
temperature and, if necessary,
adjust oil level.
Check date of last oil change and,
if necessary, change oil.

Fully open valves in in and outflow
pipes.
Check free flow in cooling coil.
Check temperature and,
if necessary, adjust.
Check function of oil pump and,
if necessary, repair or replace oil
pump.

covers and/or joints.
