4.2.2 Replacing the remaining peripheral devices
When changing over to the FDnet, all peripheral devices on a detector line which
have not been modernized must be replaced. This applies to the following device
groups in particular:
l
All special detectors
l
All manual call points
l
All input/output modules, input modules, output modules
l
Multi-T-Tap devices (DC1135, DC1157, SIGMALOOP splitter): The
FDCL221-M multi line separator module can be used for the conversion into
permissible FDnet topologies.
l
For MS8/PMT: The addressed display lights must be replaced with
addressable alarm indicators FDCAI221.
Peripheral devices which do not need to be replaced
The following base adapters can continue to be operated on the FDnet:
l
FDB241
l
FDB251
l
FDB299
The following Sinteso point detectors can continue to be operated with the relevant
base adapters when operated on the FDnet:
l
FDT2xx
l
FDO2xx
l
FDOOT2xx
The acoustic base DBZ1195A, the relay base DBC1191A-AA, and the humidity
base DBZ1192 can continue to be used with the same functions with the AlgoRex
DB11x1A bases and the FDB241, FDB251, and FDB299 base adapters.
The detector heating unit DBZ1190-A-AC, however, cannot continue to be used.
