4.1.3 Parameterization of detection characteristics

4.1.3.1 Collective detector lines and 'MS8/PMT' detector family

The sensor mode (0, 1, or 2) and/or detector type (optical, thermal, combined), and

the corresponding parameter set are selected using detector exchanger and

tester FDUD292.

4.1.3.2 'AnalogPLUS' detector family

The multiple protocol detectors can be operated under AnalogPLUS with the

following parameter sets:

With detector exchanger and tester FDUD292, the 'Universal Fast' parameter set

can also be selected when replacing the DO1131A and DOT1131A detectors. This

parameter set is only available with the FDOOT241-A3 in AnalogPLUS mode.
The sensitivity of the 'Universal Fast' parameter set is comparable with the

sensitivity of the 'Balanced' parameter set. The response time of the 'Universal

Fast' parameter set is in the range <10 s in AnalogPLUS mode and is comparable

with the response time of the replaced AnalogPLUS detector. The quick response

increases sensitivity towards deceptive phenomena.
