Using "HyperTerminal" via the Serial Interface of a PC

This terminal program is supplied as a standard part of the operating system, e.g.
WINDOWS® 2000 and WINDOWS® XP.
Start HyperTerminal under:

"Start

Enter a name for the new
connection, e.g. 9600 8N1.
The connection can be saved on
exiting.

Assign a PC interface to the
connection,
e.g. COM1.

new Serial Hub

for flow control

Note:

The Serial Hub data traffic can only be observed via the serial interface in the

currently set baudrate and data format. If these settings were changed, the connection
settings in HyperTerminal would have to be adjusted.

It is advisable to note down these settings to avoid any problems accessing the
Serial Hub later.
