3.4 Establishing a Bluetooth connection
Note
Using the SIMATIC MV326 in an area with WLAN communication
When you use the SIMATIC MV326 in an area with WLAN communication, this may result in
interference. We, therefore, recommend that you select the 5 GHz frequency range for the
WLAN communication and take this into account in the radio field planning.
Making the connection to the base station
Follow the steps below for a Bluetooth connection from the charging station to the reader:
1.
Scan in the QuickConnect code ① . The QuickConnect code is on the front of the charging
station.
Reaction: While the connection is being established, the green wireless symbol
② on the
charging station and the symbol for a wireless connection ③ at the top of the optical
handheld reader are flashing.
As soon as the connection has been established, the green wireless symbols on the
charging station and on the reader ② / ③ are on permanently and the optical handheld
reader beeps once.
