3.2 Charging the optical handheld reader
Charge the batteries before turning on the device for the first time
In the delivery state, the batteries are approximately 50% charged. Fully charge the batteries
before turning on the device for the first time.
The charging time for a completely discharged battery with the charging station and the USB
cable is about 4 hours.

Proceed as follows to charge the reader:
1.
Connect the USB cable of the charging station to the USB port of the computer.
2. Remove the protective foil on the reader window.
3. Place the device into the charging station ① .
