Never use the IV pole for any purpose other than that for which it was intended and
designed.

Always check that the IV supporting hooks are in longitudinal position with the
stretcher, in order to reduce and minimize the obstruction.
Always check that the IV pole is correctly installed to the stretcher before using it.
Never exceed the allowable maximum capacity of the IV pole.

Act on the height regulating lever (4).
•
Regulate the height by raising or lowering the rod until the desired position is reached.
•
Release lever (4) to fix the position.
•
Place the drip with holder on the rod hook (2).
