IMPORTANT !
The instructions in this manual are therefore a supplement to the manual of the tyre changer, the information in
which therefore continues to apply.
This manual only contains the additional instructions required for correct use of the SR 80 wheel lifting de-
vice.
1 - GENERAL INFORMATION
The SR 80 wheel lift has been designed as an optional for SICE
tyre changers to facilitate wheel positioning from the floor to
the turntable and vice-versa.
Any other use is improper, unreasonable and, therefore, not
permissible.
In particular, NEVER use the SR 80 to lift persons.
Before any operation on or with this device, the contents of
this Instruction Manual must be read carefully and thoroughly
understood.
SICE Spa declines any and all injury to persons or damage
to property caused by improper or unreasonable use of the
device.
KEEP THIS MANUAL IN A SAFE, EASILY ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR FUTURE CONSULTATION.

3 - GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
The machine may only be used by authorised, skilled personnel.
In order to be classified as skilled, an operator must have understood the supplier’s written instructions, attended a specific training course
and be familiar with the work-place safety regulations.
Operators must not use drugs or alcohol which may impair their capabilities.
In general terms, they must be able to:
- read and understand descriptions;
- understand the machine’s functions and characteristics;
- keep unauthorised persons well clear of the area of operations;
- make sure that the machine has been installed in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations;
- make sure that all operators are suitably trained, that they are capable of using the machine correctly and safely, and that they are ad-
equately supervised during their work;
- take care not to touch electrical equipment and lines unless the machine has been disconnected.

- keep this manual to hand and consult it if necessary.
WARNING!
All changes or modifications to the machine relieve the producer from liability for any indirect damage.
In particular, tampering with or removing safety devices constitutes a serious breach of work-place safety
regulations.
