1. Content of delivery
1 SICCO Vacuum Desiccator

2. Security instructions
» Please do not take a damaged desiccator into operation.
» Provide a safe stand for the desiccator.
» Place the desiccator in a reachable working height.
» Do not put any explosive or inflammable products into the desiccator.
» Do not store any solvents or acids in the desiccator.
» SICCO Desiccators are not suitable for overpressure
» Only evacuate the desiccator at room temperature.
» Don’t produce more than 10
-4 Torr negative pressure.
» Never open the door when the desiccator is evacuated.
» At normal pressure, the desiccator can be used in ambient temperatures between – 20 °C and + 70 °C.
» Do not expose the desiccator to direct sunlight.
» Remove only one shelf at once.
3. Taking into operation
» Remove the protection cover.
» Tighten the hose connectors (1) and (2) carefully by turning
clockwise with a flat wrench size 15.
Attention: You must have a sufficient counterholding force to
prevent damages at the bonding surface of the valve.
