6. Disturbances / Repairs
The following information to clear possible disturbances shall help you to recognize or to eliminate
possible reasons for the disturbances by yourselves. Should there be a disturbance you cannot handle,
please do not hesitate to contact us. Of course we will try to help you in this way. If then we do not find a
solution to your problem, we ask you to return the cleaned desiccator into the original packing to us. Then
we will check if a cost-effective repair is possible.

» The door is not closed tightly.
Close the door and lock all latches.
» Check the circular silicone seal for damages. If necessary,
renew the silicone seal.
» The valve for evacuation (1) which is connected to the pump is
not open.
Open the valve (1).
» The valve for ventilation (2) is still open.
Close the valve (2).
» Check your connectors, hose and pump for leakages.
Seal the leakages. Renew the hose.
» Exchange it as follows:
(You can use all vacuum gauges with G ¼“threads)
