» Attention: The position of the latches (4) must not be changed
as long as the desiccator is under vacuum. Otherwise they
deform during pressure compensation and lose function.
After drying, the stored components can be taken out as follows:

» Open the valve for ventilation (2) carefully. The valve is cooled
during ventilation. This does not affect function.

» Open all latches (4) by turning clockwise.
Attention: the door can only be opened after pressure
compensation is completed.
» Open the door and take out the stored products.
4. Mode of function
» Due to the connection to a vacuum pump, the inside pressure of the desiccator is decreased and drying
is speeded up.
» The vacuum gauge indicates the inside pressure.
» The door cannot be opened under vacuum.
» To prevent the air humidity getting into the desiccator when putting in or taking out parts, the door
should be opened only for a very short period of time.
5. Service / Maintenance
» Only use soft clothes and no detergents which contain solvents or which scrub.
» Only use the desiccator in clean and dustfree conditions. Never expose it to direct insulation or other
sources of heat.
