13. Head temperature
In Tempe menu you can view the temperature of the LED City Painter’s head. It is very important to know
the temperature of the device, as the self-protection system of the LEDs cuts the overall power. So when
the device doesn’t function after hours of working with excessive high temperatures, be sure to check
the temperature of the head.
1)
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to scroll through the display, until it shows “
Tempe
”.
2)
Press the ENTER button and the display will show, example : “
019°C
”.
3)
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to switch between Degrees Celcius (
°C
) or Fahrenheit (
°F
).
4)
Press the ENTER button to return to the main menu.
14. Configuring a Master (Stand-alone) / DMX
When multiple City Painters are connected in stand-alone Mode, one device has to be the master,
controlling all other slave devices. You control the master device and all others (slaves) will react the
same as the master device.
1)
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to scroll through the display, until it shows “
MastR
”.
2)
Press the ENTER button and the display will show “
OFF
”.
3)
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to choose between ON or OFF.
4)
Press ENTER to store your setting and exit the Master menu.
15. Configuring Slaves
When multiple City Painters are connected in stand-alone Mode, one device has to be the master,
controlling all other slave devices. You control the master device and all others (slaves) will react the
same as the master device. You can connect 29 slaves to 1 master device. Each slave has to have a
different SLAVE ID number. When multiple devices have the same SLAVE ID number you can not control
them individually, they will react the same.
1)
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to scroll through the display, until it shows “
SLAVEID
”.
2)
Press the ENTER button and the display will show “
01
”.
3)
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to choose a value between 01-29.
4)
Press ENTER to store your setting and exit the SLAVEID menu.
16. Enabling – Disabling the Scheduler
The Scheduler allows you to organize and run the fully automatic playback of a series of events on a
weekly basis, including the preset programs on the MASTER fixture.
1)
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to scroll through the display, until it shows “
Sched.
”.
2)
Press the ENTER button and the display will show “
OFF
”.
3)
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to choose between ON or OFF.
4)
Press ENTER to store your setting and exit the Schedule menu.
