7.3 CF card insertion
(1) Insert the CF card with the rim toward you. See (Fig. 7.3-1).
The groove width of the top and bottom of the card differ so that the CF card will be
inserted correctly. However, do not insert the card forcibly in the wrong direction.
After insertion, the card should protrude approx. 5mm from the front of the instrument
with the CF card ejection button also protruding. See (Fig. 7.3-2).
(2) Shift the LOCK switch to LOCK position. See (Fig. 7.3-2).

7.4 CF card ejection
Caution
• Make sure not to press the card ejection button too hard, as this may cause the CF
card to fall to the ground.
• Be sure to pull the CF card out by pressing the CF card ejection button.
• If a defective CF card is inserted, the reset function to prevent malfunction is initiated,
and the instrument reverts to the warm-up status.
(1) Shift the LOCK switch to UNLOCK. See (Fig. 7.4-1).
(2) To eject the CF card, press the CF card ejection button. See (Fig. 7.4-1).
