4-3 Entering the Instrumental Error of

a Weight for Use

To adjust (calibrate) the balance more accurately, enter the instrumental error of an external
weight to be used for span adjustment or span tests. (Enter the instrumental error in mg.)

Go to Function 2 setting mode.

While pressing the [Zero/Tare] key, press and hold the

[Function] key. After “Func2” is displayed, release the

keys.

Select display of instrumental error.

Press the [Function] key several times to select “2.o.M.P.”

Press the [Zero/Tare] key to select “1.”

Start entering the instrumental error.

Press the [Zero/Tare] key.

The leftmost digit will blink.

Enter a value.

Press the [Zero/Tare] key to change the value in the

blinking digit.

Move to the other digits to enter

numbers.

Press the [Function] key to move the cursor to the left and

the digit in the cursor position will then start blinking.

If the cursor is at the leftmost digit, it moves to the
negative sign setting “M” and then returns to the
rightmost digit.
Press the [Print] key to return to the state in step
2.

Save the instrumental error.

Press the [Set] key.

The display changes to “3.r.CA.”
Press the [Set] key again to return to the
measurement mode.

To use the entered instrumental error

To use the entered instrumental error, set Function 2 to “

4.M.E.H. 1.”
