3 Various Measuring Methods

LF(R) Series Operation Manual

Save the water temperature.

Press the [Set] key.

Hang the cage only and set the weight readout to

zero.

Hang only the cage from the underfloor weighing hook.

Press the [Zero/Tare] key.

The readout changes to zero.

Weigh a sample.

Place a sample in the cage.

When the weight readout is stabilized, press the [Set]

key.

This saves the weight of the sample in the air.

Once the weight is saved, “ ” is shown in the
lower left corner of the display.

You can also weigh the sample on the weighing

pan.

Set the liquid container in place.

Place the container with water under the balance, and

put only the cage into the water. (Do not put the sample

in the cage.)

Press the [Zero/Tare] key to change the readout to zero.

This eliminates the discrepancy caused by the
cage.
