5-3. Using the Outriggers
(1) Setting the Outriggers
Unlatch the outriggers the outrigger latches and
lower them to the ground. The outriggers lock
automatically.
<Note>

Outriggers can be locked at a height within a
range of approximately 100 mm above and below
the level position. On an inclined surface, be
careful as the outrigger locked height is different
by setting blocks under the wheels or similar
measure.
Pull up the outriggers and make sure that they
lock.
<Note>

If not securely locked, lightly push the outrigger
lever towards the outer side (away from the mast
side) with your foot.
(2) Storing the Outriggers
Push the outrigger lever towards the mast side
with your foot to release the lock.
With the lever pushed, pull up the outrigger and
push it into the outrigger latch.
<Note>

Always be sure to store the outriggers when
moving this tower light.

Be careful of the outriggers when they are in use. You could trip and fall.
WARNING: TIPPING OVER/INJURY

Be sure to always support the outriggers with one hand when setting and
storing them.

Be careful that your hand supporting the outrigger does not get pinched or
caught by the mast or winch handle when setting and storing the outriggers.
