Hedge and shrub trimming operation
Hedge and shrub trimming operation
Rotating operation
This model is equipped with a twistable rear handle feature that
can be turned 90° to either side of the normal operating position
to help reduce operator fatigue and improve precision trimming
during vertical cutting operations.
To operate:
1. Fully release the throttle trigger.
2. Lift up the twist handle release lever.
3. Rotate the handle 90° in the desired direction and release
the lever. Make sure that the handle is fully locked into posi-
tion before use.
Basic hedge trimming operation
Pulling the throttle trigger after the engine is started will cause
the engine speed to rise and the cutter blades to start moving.
Adjust the engine speed depending on, for example, the
amount of the hedges to be cut.
Conduct cutting work with the cutter blades positioned away
from you. Do not orient the cutter blades toward yourself or put
it closer to yourself.
When cutting the top of the hedges or shrubs, do so by moving
the cutter blades from side to side. Tidy trimming will be made
possible by moving the blades slightly cast down.
When cutting sides, do so by moving the cutter blades in the
bottom-up direction for tidy trimming.
Do not press the cutter blades against the objects like trees.
Operate the product in accordance with the movement and the
speed of the cutter blades.
Releasing the throttle decreases engine speed, causing the
cutters to slow, and then stop altogether as the clutch disen-
gages.
Avoid cutting material larger than 1.27 cm in diameter.
