This is an abbreviation for "decibel". A decibel is a unit of measure
for volume.
Front pages.
Pages at the front of some books. These are usually characterized
by page numbering that is in Roman numerals or by alphabetic
characters instead of Arabic numerals. In PLEXTALK, these are
recorded as front pages. You cannot use the Title Key to move to
this type of page, however, you can move to a page of this type by
going to the "Page" option on the Navigation menu and move
backwards or forwards using the Number 4 and 6 Key.
Group.
A group is a DAISY navigation feature that allows the user to find
specific items quickly. For example, groups might be used to mark
diagrams, tables or images.
Heading.
The first phrase of a section and the place where the section changes
is often called a heading.
HTML.
This is an abbreviation for "HyperText Markup Language". HTML is
the predominant markup language used to structure the information
on web pages. It is a structured language that allows items such as
paragraphs, headings, pages, links, images and tables to be specified
in a standardised way so that they are properly recognised by web
browsers.
Level.
The producer of a DAISY book can use up to 6 levels of navigation.
Levels are generally used for identifying such things as chapters,
