9.4 Digital Inputs

This is used to connect devices such as linear encoders, which have a digital pulse output.

Configure wiring according to the connection example. Applicable connectors are indicated

below.

Connection Example

Do NOT apply less than zero or more than 5 volts to pulse input terminals DIN1A, DIN1B,
DIN2A, or DIN2B. Doing so could damage the input circuit.

Use shielded wire for wiring and always connect the shield to the connector shell.
