Special Note:
When you delete a file, the computer will move the file
to recycle bin, please empty the recycle bin to save space in
CHD-6 for new file storage.
5.2.4.3 Disconnect from the computer
Please follow the following steps to safely disconnect
the USB connection, or else data might be corrupted or not
found, this might even freeze the computer or the player.
1. Click on the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon on the
system tray.
2. Click on the “Safely remove USB Mass Storage
Device – drive (G:)”, as shown in picture 19.1.

3. As shown in picture 19.2, when “Safe to Remove
Hardware” message appear, disconnect the player’s USB
connection, the player will return to the virtual disk selection
interface; If “It is now save to remove the device” message
didn’t appear, please do not forcefully disconnect the
connection.

Special Note:
In Windows XP, icons in the system tray might be hidden
by the system. You should click on “show hidden icon” to
view all the icons.
If some program like Windows Explorer or Windows
Media Player is accessing the player, safely remove hardware
function cannot be used. You should close these programs
before using the safely remove hardware function.
In Windows XP, sometimes due to system internal signal,
safely remove hardware function cannot be used. You can
check to see if the hard disk of the player is moving or not,
if the hard disk is not running, you can just unplug the USB
cable.
In Windows 98SE, when the data transfer is finished (the
indicator stops flashing), you can just unplug the cable.
5.2.5 USB-OTG
Digital Camera, U disk device can connect the player
using USB-OTG function.
