6. INFO
key
The
INFO
key allows you to use 4 functions.
A) Guide of keys
Each key carries useful information. If you wish to read the information, press the
INFO
key before
pressing the desired key.
Example:
To read information about BASIC COOK:
NOTES:
1. The information message will be shown once, then the display will return to the
time of day, if set.
2. To cancel the information press the
STOP/CLEAR
key.
B) Child lock
The Child Lock prevents unwanted or accidental oven operation such as by small children. The oven
can be set so that the control panel is deactivated or locked. To set, press the
INFO
key twice then the
START/AUTO MINUTE
key. Should a pad be touched, “CHILD LOCK ON” will appear in the
display. To cancel, press the
INFO
key once and
STOP/CLEAR
key.
D) Refresh cycle
The oven has a catalyst which assists with smoke and odour removal.
Use the Refresh Cycle to:
•Condition the heater before using the oven for the first time.
•Remove any unwanted odour.
•Keep the catalyst in optimum condition.
•Assist with cleaning the oven. Leave the oven to cool for approx. 10 minutes before cleaning (see
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE on page 35 ).
NOTES:
1. Remove the turntable from the oven before the Refresh Cycle. No food should be in the oven.
2. The Refresh Cycle takes 30 minutes.
3. During the Refresh Cycle some smoke and odour may occur.
Example:
To operate the Refresh Cycle:
1.

C) Sound setting
To have the oven operate with no audible signals, press the
INFO
key three times then the
STOP/CLEAR
key. To cancel and restore audible signal, press the
INFO
key three times then the
START/AUTO MINUTE
key.
E) Help
When the indicator light above the
INFO
key is flashing, press the key to read valuable information.

The oven door, outer cabinet & oven cavity will become hot. Take care to avoid burns when cooling the
oven down after operation.
